The Lagunas at Green Beacon Gallery
There are a lot of awesome shows happening this weekend. Most shows are rock or punk. I’m excited that we have such a large rock community here. In recent years, it seems like mainstream music has veered away from showcasing rock bands like they did in the early 2000’s. Luckily, you can see a lot of great rock bands right here. If I were able to attend a show this Friday, I’d probably hit up Metal Night Live or Flannel Fest. If I could attend a show on Saturday, I’d hit up the 7th anniversary show at Spirit or the show at the Squirrel Hill Sports Bar. If you’ve never been to Spirit, I highly recommend it. It’s a cool space with a unique vibe. If I could go to one show on Sunday night, I’d check out the bands at Ormsby 222.
