Best Pittsburgh Weekend Concerts April 22nd-24th

The Bates Box Formal

Do you have plans for this weekend? Why not add a concert, or two, or three to your plans? What kind of music are you into? Whether it’s rock, punk, metal, rap, country, electronica, soul, or reggae, I’ve got you covered.

If I had to choose a show on Friday, I would pick the Tough Cuffs album release party at the Thunderbird Music Hall or Quiet Hours at Bates Box.

Saturday has an insane amount of shows I’d be very interested in seeing. I’d be curious to see what Del Amitri is like live, especially as this is their first North American tour in 25 years! The Oakland Pop Festival has a lot of talented bands including Gaadge and Water Trash. I’d definitely recommend hearing Merce Lemon live at Rothko House. The Lagunas are playing Revolutions in Uniontown, finally providing people with a reason to go to Uniontown.

Sunday night, Okilly Dokilly is playing Stage AE. I’m sure that will be a fun show.

Someone, I think you might want to check out TWICE this weekend is Fuckyougrizz. Fuckyougrizz is playing the Oakland Pop Festival on Saturday and then playing Art All Night at 1:30 AM on Sunday morning. This is an artist I am really looking forward to hearing more from.

Note: Shows are always subject to change or be canceled. I recommend buying your ticket in advance &/or checking before leaving for the show. Buying tickets in advance also shows venues your support for your favorite bands.
